Tailoring turned up again this month at Chanel Cruise and Dior Cruise, each giving it a 28% share of the collection, with Gucci Cruise pushing it further at 35%. Chloé's resort lineup made it a central focus too. Four mentions, two sources, all within weeks of each other — the kind of quiet repetition that tends to mean something is actually building rather than just flickering.

What strikes us is how tailoring seems to be the connective tissue between moods that don't usually sit together — the old-money crispness, the Parisian ease, even the maximalist impulse toward more fabric, more shoulder. A blazer reads structured without trying hard, which might explain why it keeps surfacing regardless of which aesthetic a collection is chasing.
