About Matrix

Fashion moves at different altitudes — forecasters and fashion houses signal what's next, retailers place their bets, and creators wear it first. Matrix reads all of those layers and turns them into editorial you can understand and shop, instead of trend lists with no evidence behind them.

We don't call something a trend because one runway showed it. A story only goes live once the signal is corroborated across multiple, independent sources — and we tell you where each claim comes from. Our trend data pages link every number back to the organization that measured it.

When a trend is real, we point you to pieces that fit it. Those links go to third-party retailers, and your purchase is completed on the retailer's own site — Matrix never handles payment or fulfillment. Some links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We explain this fully in our Affiliate Disclosure.

Trend coverage is driven by data, not by commissions. A product earning us a commission never buys its way into a story — inclusion is editorial. Where we cite forecasters, publications, or retailers, we use only publicly available material and attribute it.
