Affiliate Disclosure

Matrix participates in affiliate marketing programs. This page explains what that means for you, in plain terms.

Last updated: June 13, 2026

The short version

Some links on Matrix are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether or not you use our link.

How it works

When a trend is genuine, we point to pieces that fit it. Those links send you to third-party retailers, and your purchase is completed on the retailer's own site. Matrix does not sell products, set prices, hold inventory, or process payments. Affiliate networks use cookies to credit a qualifying purchase back to us.

Editorial independence

Our trend coverage is driven by data, not by commissions. A product earning us a commission never buys its way into a story — what we feature is an editorial decision based on the signal in the data. We also include non-commissionable products when they're the right example.

Pricing & availability

Prices and availability are set by the retailers and can change at any time. We work to keep links accurate, but the retailer's site is always the source of truth for current price, stock, and product details.

FTC compliance

This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). We believe you have a right to know when a link can earn us a commission, which is why this notice also appears in our site footer and alongside the products we feature.
