Planning a stay at a Radisson property? The hotel group’s ChatGPT plugin lets travelers explore its hotels through maps, price comparisons and amenity details, then continue to Radisson’s website to book. The plugin is a branded discovery tool, not a market-wide hotel search.
In its announcement, OpenAI says the plugin was developed by Radisson with Accenture. It reports that users can see Radisson hotel suggestions on a map, compare pricing and view amenities in ChatGPT. The booking itself takes place on Radisson’s site.
What travelers can do
The plugin is intended to help people consider Radisson properties while planning a trip. OpenAI says a ChatGPT update means people who have installed it no longer need to type “@RadissonHotels” first: ChatGPT may show the plugin automatically when it is relevant.
That does not mean the feature appears in every travel conversation. The announcement specifically notes that the plugin must be installed. It also describes results for Radisson hotels, not comparisons with other hotel groups.
If you are considering a Radisson stay, the map, prices and amenity information can help you review the group’s options. You can then follow through to Radisson’s website to complete a booking. Compare other hotels separately if you want to assess choices beyond Radisson’s portfolio.
What the reported result means
OpenAI reports that the plugin’s visit-to-booking conversion rate was approximately 1.5 times Radisson’s organic-search rate in July and August 2026. That is a reported comparison of booking conversion, not evidence that travelers found lower prices, chose better hotels or had better stays.
Radisson is also running sponsored advertising in ChatGPT. OpenAI presents the ads and plugin as parts of the group’s broader discovery strategy, but they are distinct: the plugin supports hotel discovery, while the ads are paid campaigns. The announcement says more than half of recorded checkout and booking events from those campaigns were attributed through view-through measurement; that is an advertising attribution figure, not a measure of the plugin’s conversion rate.
A practical way to use it
If a Radisson hotel is already on your shortlist, use the plugin to inspect its location, price and amenities, then check the booking details on Radisson’s website. For a wider decision, compare the option with hotels outside the Radisson experience before reserving.
The feature may make it easier to move from a travel question to Radisson’s booking channel. It does not replace a cross-brand comparison. Which details matter most when you compare hotels—location, price, amenities or something else?
